October 2023
Currently exhibiting at Geelong Art Space until 23rd December 2023.

‘Waste Not, Want Not’ is a curated group exhibition where I invited twelve artists to exhibit alongside me.

The artists were selected for their contemporary craft practices and engaging use of materials. Their mindful environmental impact and choice to reimagine and repurpose materials by adapting traditional techniques to create unique contemporary art pieces.

As a result, this exhibition brings often-unseen contemporary craft practices to audiences in regional Victoria which seek to inspire new perspectives on creativity, and provide a safe and welcoming space to visit.

Ultimately, ‘Waste Not, Want Not’ serves as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to create and consume in ways that are more respectful of our planet and environment.

Exhibiting artists include:
Karryn Argus – queer feminist textile and mixed media artist
Amanda Benn – mixed media artist
Jane Bodnaruk – textile artist
Miranda Brett - textile artist
Adelaide Butler – embroidery artist
Di Ellis – printmaker and stitcher
Kris Estreich – mixed media
